The European Commission names Isola among four European examples of impact-driven businessThe European Commission cites us as an example of impact-driven business. Find out why

Many islands, one archipelago

The challenges we face can’t be overcome alone.Meaningful connections are the infrastructure that turns ambition into action.

What we mean by archipelago

An ecosystem built on meaningful connections

The archipelago is the diverse network that brings together businesses, corporates, startups, foundations, universities, institutions, third-sector organisations and media. Large and small, local and global, profit and non-profit, public and private: many different organisations, held together by a shared vision and common goals.

It’s this network that multiplies the impact of everything we do, turning relationships into collective action. We call it an archipelago because that’s how we see Sicily and its place in the world: many islands, one archipelago.

Who takes part

Diversity

Those who bring capital and those who bring research, those who hire and those who train, those who decide and those who deliver: no organisation, on its own, has all the levers it takes.

How it works

Getting things done

Relationships become action: co-design and real collaboration on Isola’s impact programmes, not just a name on a list.

Where we are heading

A focus on Sicily

One clear goal: to unlock the potential of the region, starting with new generations and with those at risk of being left behind.

Who is in the archipelago

Over 100 organisations, one shared goal

Businesses and corporates, startups, foundations, universities, institutions, third-sector organisations and media: organisations working in Sicily towards the same goal from different positions.

No one builds a better Isola alone

Let’s get to know each other

If you care about the future of new generations and of this land, impact is built better together. Let’s start with a conversation: goals and possible ways of working together.
