Where social innovation happens

A lively, open place inside Palazzo Biscari, where work, learning, culture and debate live side by side: people looking for an opportunity meet those who can offer one.

Coworking and events

Two ways to experience it

For anyone who wants to work as part of a community, and for anyone who wants a unique, meaningful setting for their event.

Who brings this place to life

Much more than a venue

Social innovation doesn't happen at a distance: it needs a place where it can happen. Our hub is a lively, open place where work, learning, culture and debate live side by side: a point of reference for the local community and for those who come from elsewhere, designed to spark encounters, even chance ones, between people who would otherwise never have met. That’s where the best ideas and projects are born.

Through coworking, activities and events, different worlds cross paths and people looking for an opportunity meet those who can offer one: on the same day our building hosts the people who work here every day, a training course, the startups of an acceleration programme, an exhibition or a book launch.

The façade of Palazzo Biscari, home of Isola in Catania

Palazzo Biscari

Our home

A listed heritage building in the heart of Catania, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto, a symbol of the city's late Baroque rebirth. Choosing it as our home is a statement of intent: to bring tradition and the contemporary into dialogue, to breathe new life into historic heritage, and to show that a region can rebuild on its own beauty.
